Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 13. Salado will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 3-3 non-league Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX).
