January 12, 2025: Monaca, PA 15061 In Sunday's non-league test, the Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), by a score of 62-20.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Quakers come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 63-49 league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA).
The Big Reds (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils come into the District 10 Region 2 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Sharpsville was routed by Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 54-30, in a league test.
