January 13, 2022: Le Sueur, MN 56058 The Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country Giants basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Medford Tigers to 69 in the Giants league triumph on Thursday.
The Giants now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Ulm for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country will meet a Eagles team coming off a 77-68 league win over St. Peter (St. Peter, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
The Tigers (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton was defeated by Maple River (Mapleton, MN), 71-29, in a non-league contest.
