The Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) basketball crushed the host Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA), 66-40 in Thursday's league test.

The Aces (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Sallies go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Salesianum walloped St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE), 54-35, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Interboro for a non-league test on Saturday, January 15. Strath Haven will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 56-51 league loss to Chichester (Boothwyn, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-7.
