Colorado High School Basketball - La Junta crushes Banning Lewis Academy
January 13, 2022: La Junta, CO 81050 La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Banning Lewis Academy Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), 59-25 in a league bout.
With the win, La Junta upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Lions in a 3A Tri-Peaks bout on Saturday, January 15. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Colorado Springs Christian won 52-17 in their recent league bout against Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO)
Next up, the Stallions clash with the Florence Huskies (Florence, CO) in a 3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Wednesday, January 19. Banning Lewis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 94-26 league loss to The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO).
