Missouri High School Basketball - Viburnum crushes Bourbon
January 13, 2022: Viburnum, MO 65566 Viburnum Blue Jays (Viburnum, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bourbon War Hawks (Bourbon, MO), 59-21 in a league bout.
With the win, Viburnum upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Blue Jays travel to Belle (Belle, MO) to play the Tigers in a Gasconade Valley bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Belle lost 71-31 in their recent league bout against Cuba (Cuba, MO)
Next up, the War Hawks play the Dixon Bulldogs (Dixon, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 14. Bourbon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 67-16 non-league loss to St. Elizabeth (St. Elizabeth, MO).
