The Greenies now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McGehee for a 2A District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 18. Newman will confront a Hawks team coming off a 50-21 non-league loss to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-5.
The Cajuns (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Rebels come into the 1A District 9 battle with a 3-6 record.
