New Jersey High School Basketball - Monroe Township overwhelms South River
January 13, 2022: Monroe Township, NJ 08831 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ) and the visiting South River Rams (South River, NJ), saw Monroe Township's basketball squad wallop South River by a tally of 55-23.
With the victory, Monroe Township improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ) to confront the Knights in a Greater Middlesex - Red challenge on Saturday, January 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Old Bridge won 47-46 in their recent league challenge against South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ)
Next up, the Rams confront the Abraham Clark Rams (Roselle, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. South River will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
