The Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) basketball nipped the host Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA), 39-38 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Aces (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Conestoga (Berwyn, PA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record.

The Panthers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Interboro for a non-league test on Saturday, January 15.
