The North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Bagdad Sultans to 36 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gladiators now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antelope for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy will battle a Rams team coming off a 72-36 non-league loss to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 4-7.

The Sultans (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Salome (Salome, AZ). The Frogs enter the 1A West contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Salome nudged Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ), 66-49, in a non-league contest.
