The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Canal Winchester Indians to 52 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Albany for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Big Walnut will battle a Eagles team coming off a 56-49 league loss to Westerville Central (Westerville, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.

The Indians (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Logan (Logan, OH). The Chieftains come into the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Logan was nudged by St. Charles (Columbus, OH), 52-30, in a non-league contest.
