Rhode Island High School Basketball - Bishop Hendricken overwhelms Mt. Pleasant
January 13, 2023: Warwick, RI 02889 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), saw Bishop Hendricken's basketball squad wallop Mt. Pleasant by a count of 70-41.
With the victory, Bishop Hendricken upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to play the Sentinels in a State Championship challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Kilties play the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) in a State Championship challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
