January 13, 2023: Cambridge, MA 02138 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) and the host Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA), saw Westford Academy's basketball squad hold off Cambridge Rindge & Latin by a count of 56-53.
With the victory, Westford Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Grey Ghosts travel to Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 15. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Chelmsford won 53-50 in their recent league challenge against Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Cambridge Rindge & Latin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Townies come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 56-54 non-league win over Andover (Andover, MA).
