Florida High School Basketball - Carol City holds off Jackson
January 13, 2023: Miami, FL 33142 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carol City Chiefs (Miami, FL) and the host Jackson Generals (Miami, FL), witnessed Carol City's basketball squad nip Jackson by a margin of 49-44.
The Chiefs (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Divine Savior Academy (Doral, FL). The Sharks go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Divine Savior Academy got by Calvary Christian Academy Gold (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 82-60, in a non-league test.
The Generals now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hialeah for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Jackson will encounter a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 79-52 non-league loss to Hialeah Gardens (Hialeah Gardens, FL). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 3-8.
