January 13, 2023: Durham, NC 27705 The Carolina Day Wildcats basketball team (Asheville, NC), was nudged 53-49 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC)
The Quakers (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings go into the NCISAA Tri-TAC outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Salem Baptist Christian was tipped by Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC), 89-63, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to New Garden Friends for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Carolina Day will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 66-23 league win over Carter G. Woodson (Winston-Salem, NC). The Bears record now stands at 13-4.
