The Centralia Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Montesano Bulldogs to 40 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen for a 2A Evergreen contest on Tuesday, January 17. Centralia will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 63-41 league loss to Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-11.

The Bulldogs (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Evergreen contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Hoquiam was defeated by Eatonville (Eatonville, WA), 85-76, in a league contest.
