The Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) basketball knocked off the host La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN), 51-41 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Brickies go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Hobart went down by Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN), 50-35, in a non-league test.

The Slicers now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Michigan City for a Duneland test on Friday, January 20. La Porte will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 63-54 league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 10-3.
