January 13, 2023: West Linn, OR 97068 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR) and the visiting Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR), saw West Linn's basketball squad overcome Cleveland by a tally of 71-52.
With the victory, West Linn improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to De La Salle (Concord, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. De La Salle won 46-35 in their recent league challenge against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 72-66 non-league loss to Benson Tech (Portland, OR).
