Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT), 57-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Morgan upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Huskies host Portland (Portland, CT) to play the Highlanders in a Shoreline bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Portland won 52-48 in their recent league bout against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Coginchaug Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bellringers go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 82-45 league loss to Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT).
