Michigan High School Basketball - Lutheran Northwest nips Detroit Country Day
January 13, 2023: Beverly Hills, MI 48025 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI) and the host Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI), saw Lutheran Northwest's basketball squad hold off Detroit Country Day by a tally of 44-38.
With the victory, Lutheran Northwest improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Novi Christian Academy (Novi, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Novi Christian Academy won 80-63 in their recent league challenge against Huron Valley Lutheran (Westland, MI)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Forest Hills Northern Huskies (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Detroit Country Day will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
