January 13, 2023: Afton, IA 50830 The East Union Eagles basketball team (Afton, IA), was overwhelmed 71-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA)
The Wolverines now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Valley for a Pride of Iowa battle on Tuesday, January 17. Nodaway Valley will confront a team coming off a 68-41 league win over Wayne (Corydon, IA). The record now stands at 4-7.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record.
