Ohio High School Basketball - Elgin holds off Hardin Northern
January 13, 2023: Marion, OH 43302 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) and the visiting Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH), saw Elgin's basketball squad hold off Hardin Northern by a tally of 48-47.
With the victory, Elgin improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Comets host KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. KIPP Columbus won 69-23 in their recent league challenge against Ohio School for the Deaf (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Polar Bears confront the Ada Bulldogs (Ada, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Hardin Northern will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 61-38 league loss to Jefferson (Delphos, OH).
