The Harper Woods Pioneers basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting West Bloomfield Lakers to 45 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Rouge for a Michigan Metro contest on Tuesday, January 17. Harper Woods will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.

The Lakers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Groves (Beverly Hills, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.
