Missouri High School Basketball - Salem crushes Houston
January 13, 2023: Salem, MO 65560 Salem Tigers (Salem, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Houston Tigers (Houston, MO), 70-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Steelville (Steelville, MO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Steelville won 80-49 in their recent non-league bout against St. James (St. James, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 51-36 league loss to Crocker (Crocker, MO).
