Louisiana High School Basketball - Mentorship Academy nips Teurlings Catholic
January 13, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70801 Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), 62-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mentorship Academy upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Rebels play the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Teurlings Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 47-28 league loss to Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA).
