Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum overwhelms Mt. Baker
January 13, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), saw Squalicum's basketball squad wallop Mt. Baker by a tally of 68-42.
With the victory, Squalicum improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA) to play the Cubs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Sedro-Woolley lost 78-46 in their recent league challenge against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Monday, January 16. Mt. Baker will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Borderites come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 75-47 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
