Massachusetts High School Basketball - St. Bernard's Central Catholic fells Murdock
January 13, 2023: Winchendon, MA 01475 St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Murdock Blue Devils (Winchendon, MA), 68-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Bernard's Central Catholic upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bernardians host Sutton (Sutton, MA) to play the Sammies in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Sammies go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Sutton won 69-50 in their recent league bout against Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Tahanto Regional Stags (Boylston, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett E bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Murdock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Stags go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 57-53 league win over Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA).
