In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Osceola Kowboys basketball team scored a good 56-40 triumph over the Poinciana Eagles.

In their next game, the Kowboys meet the North Marion Colts (Citra, FL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Osceola will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 90-73 non-league win over Vanguard (Ocala, FL).

With the defeat, Poinciana moves to 6-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Discovery (Lake Alfred, FL) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 17.
