California High School Basketball - El Modena knocked off by Yorba Linda
January 13, 2023: Yorba Linda, CA 92886 The Yorba Linda Mustangs basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting El Modena Vanguards to 48 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villa Park for a contest on Tuesday, January 17. Yorba Linda will battle a Spartans team coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.
The Vanguards (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Comanches enter the non-league contest with a 18-0 record. In their last contest, Canyon ran past Brea Olinda (Brea, CA), 68-30, in a non-league contest.
