Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) and the visiting Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE), saw Adams Central's basketball squad overcome Northwest by a tally of 45-31.

With the victory, Adams Central improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Doniphan-Trumbull won 47-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Gibbon (Gibbon, NE)

Next up, the Vikings confront the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
