Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) and the visiting Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE), saw Ashland-Greenwood's basketball squad hold off Raymond Central by a tally of 41-38.

With the victory, Ashland-Greenwood improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Yutan (Yutan, NE) to confront the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Yutan won 61-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Platteview (Springfield, NE)
