The Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) basketball nipped the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), 57-50 in Friday's league test.

The Orioles (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Cathedral was tipped by Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 55-49, in a non-league outing.
