Maine High School Basketball - Biddeford overwhelmed by Sanford
January 13, 2023: Biddeford, ME 04005 The Sanford Spartans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Biddeford Tigers to 28 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Massabesic for a AA South contest on Tuesday, January 17. Sanford will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 36-20 league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Hawks come into the A South contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Marshwood was routed by Falmouth (Falmouth, ME), 46-34, in a league contest.
