Michigan High School Basketball - Calvary Christian fells Calhoun Christian
January 13, 2023: Fruitport, MI 49415 Calvary Christian Eagles (Fruitport, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI), 43-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Eagles host Lee (Wyoming, MI) to play the Legends in a Alliance bout on Friday, January 13. The Legends go into the bout with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Cougars play the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Calhoun Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Fighting Tigers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 40-36 league win over Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI).
