January 13, 2023: St. Louis, MO 63108 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR) and the host Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions (St. Louis, MO), saw Conway's basketball squad wallop Cardinal Ritter College Prep by a tally of 65-41.
With the victory, Conway improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Wampus Cats host Central (Little Rock, AR) to confront the Tigers in a 6A Central challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.
Next up, the Lions confront the Jackson South Side Hawks (Jackson, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Cardinal Ritter College Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 60-20 non-league win over Covington (Covington, TN).
