January 13, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23462 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD), saw Catholic's basketball squad hold off Riverdale Baptist by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Catholic improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Menchville (Newport News, VA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Menchville won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Phoebus (Hampton, VA)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Riverdale Baptist will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Springers come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 71-17 league win over Armstrong (Richmond, VA).
