Colorado High School Basketball - Sargent overwhelms Creede
January 13, 2023: Monte Vista, CO 81144 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sargent Farmers (Monte Vista, CO) and the visiting Creede Miners (Creede, CO), saw Sargent's basketball squad wallop Creede by a count of 50-13.
With the victory, Sargent upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Trinidad (Trinidad, CO) to play the Miners in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Trinidad won 32-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Centennial (San Luis, CO)
Next up, the Miners play the Antonito Trojans (Antonito, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Creede will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 31-19 non-league loss to Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO).
