South Barber Chieftains (Kiowa, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cunningham Wildcats (Cunningham, KS), 41-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Barber upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Chieftains host Attica (Attica, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Attica won 50-28 in their recent non-league bout against Burrton (Burrton, KS)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs (Pretty Prairie, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Cunningham will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
