The Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) basketball knocked off the host New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), 59-48 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Flashes go into the non-league test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Franklin Central went down by Avon (Avon, IN), 57-50, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton Heights for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. New Castle will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 52-37 league win over Tipton (Tipton, IN). The Huskies record now stands at 15-3.
