Connecticut High School Basketball - Haddam-Killingworth overwhelms Westbrook
January 13, 2023: Westbrook, CT 06498 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) and the host Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), saw Haddam-Killingworth's basketball squad wallop Westbrook by a count of 62-32.
With the victory, Haddam-Killingworth upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Plainville (Plainville, CT) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Plainville lost 69-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Berlin (Berlin, CT)
Next up, the Knights play the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 66-24 league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).
