The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders basketball team scored 77 points and held the host The First Academy Royals to 17 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Lake Highland Prep upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Gainesville (Gainesville, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Gainesville won 35-33 in their recent non-league bout against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, FL)

Next up, the Royals play the Foundation Academy Lions (Winter Garden, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. The First Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 60-34 non-league win over Legacy Charter (Ocoee, FL).
