Texas High School Basketball - Linden-Kildare nips Ore City
January 13, 2023: Ore City, TX 75683 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) and the host Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX), saw Linden-Kildare's basketball squad hold off Ore City by a count of 44-40.
With the victory, Linden-Kildare upgrades its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Big Sandy lost 38-27 in their recent league challenge against Harleton (Harleton, TX)
Next up, the Rebels play the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Ore City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 84-21 league loss to Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX).
