The Longhorns now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melrose for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Logan will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 69-36 non-league win over Animas (Animas, NM). The Buffaloes record now stands at 15-1.
The Mountaineers (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Steers come into the A District 2 battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Magdalena was nudged by Capitan (Capitan, NM), 54-50, in a non-league battle.
