The Notre Dame Irish basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates to 19 in the Irish league victory on Friday.

The Irish now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Donovan Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Notre Dame will battle a Griffins team coming off a 43-39 non-league loss to Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Griffins record now stands at 3-5.

The Pirates (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ). The Garnet Gulls go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Point Pleasant Beach walloped Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ), 49-14, in a league test.
