Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA), 49-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Western Christian upgrades its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Unity Christian won 62-55 in their recent league bout against Hinton (Hinton, IA)

Next up, the Stars play the Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Missouri River bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Sioux City North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Lynx come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 65-39 league loss to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA).
