South Dakota High School Basketball - Gregory tops Burke
January 13, 2023: Gregory, SD 57533 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD) and the visiting Burke Cougars (Burke, SD), saw Gregory's basketball squad knock off Burke by a tally of 36-21.
With the victory, Gregory improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Gorillas host Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to play the Black Panthers in a challenge on Monday, January 16. The Black Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Burke will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
