Maryland High School Basketball - Great Mills nips Westlake
January 13, 2023: Great Mills, MD 20634 Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 66-62 in a league bout.
With the victory, Great Mills upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Calvert lost 43-35 in their recent league bout against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a bout, on Friday, January 20. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
