New Jersey High School Basketball - Absegami overwhelms Highland Regional
January 13, 2024: Galloway, NJ 08205 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) and the visiting Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ), saw Absegami's basketball squad wallop Highland Regional by a tally of 71-38.
With the victory, Absegami improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ) to play the Pirates in a Cape/Atlantic - National challenge on Monday, January 15. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Cedar Creek won 42-30 in their recent league challenge against Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ)
Next up, the Tartans play the Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) in a Tri-County - Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Highland Regional will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 57-53 non-league win over Pitman (Pitman, NJ).
