January 13, 2024: Belleville, IL 62226 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO) basketball squad edged the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), by a count of 61-56.
The Cadets (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Granite City (Granite City, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Granite City held off Highland (Highland, IL), 51-44, in a non-league outing.
The Crusaders now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Belleville West for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 17. Althoff Catholic will clash with a Maroons squad coming off a 65-47 non-league win over Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 8-11.
