The Bryan County Redskins basketball team (Pembroke, GA), dropped 51-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA)

The Buccaneers now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portal for a A D2 Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 16. McIntosh County Academy will confront a Panthers team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-1.

The Redskins (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Wolverines come into the A D1 Region 3 battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Woodville-Tompkins beat Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 63-49, in a non-league battle.
